The New Year will bring new music and a new tour for Keith, but first in line will be a brand new music video for Keith's latest single "Sweet Thing," set for release this January. Keith took time out of what has been a grueling schedule of recording for his new album to shoot the video, which took place just outside of Nashville at the Middle Tennessee Research & Education Center in Spring hill.

The video was directed by Trey Fanjoy, who also collaborated with Keith on several videos, including "Raining On Sunday" and "Somebody Like You." Woven throughout the video is Keith's vintage Ford Mustang, which not only symbolizes the passage of time, but is a key reference to a lyric in the song itself: "I know I'm going to see you first thing tomorrow/But I just couldn't wait/So I had to borrow Uncle Jake's Mustang/It's his favorite car and so I can't stay long."

""Monty (Powell) and I were writing the song and we needed a car reference in the second verse," said Urban. "She (the car) provided a spark not only for the song, but for the video, even though the song obviously isn't about my car.
"We really had a blast making this video, and I can't wait for everyone to see it".

In the meantime, Keith returns to the studio to continue recording for his yet to be titled release due out March 31.
